Poetry ABOUT LOVE
I THOUGHT OF YOU Tonight I thought of you I knew the evening I still can find The field was black
Don’t touch me in the way a moonbeam Strokes a sleeping rose Bathing only half a flow’r In iridescent glows Hold me like the darkness folds Its arms around a bloom Saturating every velvet wing It can consume Come to me as twilight’s fingers
gather fading light Hold me as a tree that’s wrapped Blanket me and keep me Love me like a breeze caresses Bathe my skin completely with the Take me like wind snuffs out a flame of
candle light
